Privacy Policy
Effective: October 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DivisionDesk handles information when people use the DivisionDesk website, Website Auditor, Webmaster Tools, account features, software Store, support features, and related services.
Information we process
Depending on the service used, DivisionDesk may process account and contact information, organization information, purchase and subscription records, credit and usage activity, website URLs submitted for analysis, audit results, technical request data, support communications, uploaded files, and configuration information supplied by the user.
Website Auditor and Webmaster Tools
When a user submits a website or resource for analysis, DivisionDesk may retrieve publicly available pages, headers, DNS records, certificates, assets, and other technical information needed to perform the requested check. Audit evidence and generated reports may be retained to provide history, comparisons, support, abuse prevention, or product operation. Users must have authority to submit non-public, restricted, or authenticated targets.
Uploaded content
Files submitted to tools such as image optimization may be processed temporarily to provide the requested output. DivisionDesk may impose file-size, type, retention, and resource limits. Temporary tool outputs may be deleted automatically.
Accounts, credits, and purchases
DivisionDesk may retain account identifiers, credit balances, usage ledger entries, orders, subscriptions, payment-provider references, and entitlement information. Raw payment-card or bank credentials are not intended to be stored by DivisionDesk when payment processing is handled by an external payment provider.
Technical and security data
DivisionDesk may process IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps, request metadata, authentication events, rate-limit information, error reports, and security logs to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service. Where practical, some identifiers may be hashed or otherwise minimized.
Cookies and local storage
DivisionDesk may use cookies or browser storage for sessions, security, preferences, usage controls, and other service functions. See the Cookie Policy for additional information.
How information is used
- Provide requested products, audits, tools, downloads, support, and account functions.
- Maintain licenses, entitlements, credits, subscriptions, and transaction records.
- Detect abuse, enforce rate limits, prevent fraud, and protect systems and customers.
- Troubleshoot failures, measure service reliability, and improve DivisionDesk features.
- Communicate about service activity, purchases, support requests, or material account matters.
Third-party services
DivisionDesk may use third-party infrastructure, payment processors, email providers, domain/DNS services, browser or standards tooling, and other service providers where needed to deliver functionality. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Public and shared reports
Audit reports can have different visibility settings. Users should review a report's visibility before sharing it. DivisionDesk may redact security-sensitive evidence from public-safe report views, but users remain responsible for deciding what they publish or share.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for periods reasonably necessary for service operation, security, transaction records, audit history, support, contractual obligations, and applicable legal requirements. Different records may have different retention periods. Temporary processing files may be removed much sooner.
Security
DivisionDesk uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect service data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and this Policy does not promise that unauthorized access or service interruption can never occur.
Choices and questions
Account and report settings provide controls for certain information and sharing choices. Privacy questions or requests may be directed to support@divisiondesk.com.
Changes
DivisionDesk may update this Policy as services change. The current published version and effective date appear on this page.
