# Social Media Setup
DivisionDesk Social Media uses the Core first-use setup wizard. Core owns wizard progress, resume behavior, responsive presentation, AJAX busy states and Help conventions.
The wizard asks which networks this installation uses, then creates an actual connection-and-test step for each selected network before notifications, publishing defaults, verification, and completion. A selected network must be successfully connected or explicitly skipped for now.
The package runtime is `both`: the same package may be installed on a client site or DivisionDesk Server. Server catalog policy must separately approve Server installation; a package manifest cannot self-authorize that privilege.
## Facebook and Instagram
Beginning with 1.0.5, Facebook/Instagram use the DivisionDesk Server OAuth broker. The wizard presents **Connect Facebook** and asset selection; it no longer requires administrators to paste Meta Page IDs/access tokens.
